Jordan Wilmore was one of the tallest players in college basketball in a journey that took him from Missouri to Northwestern State to Austin Peay.

Now, he's going to be one of the tallest police officers ever, standing 7-foot-3.

Wilmore was recently sworn in to join the force in Kemah, Texas.

The footage from the ceremony is unlike anything you've ever seen before:

It's awesome to see Wilmore moving into an important next step of his life.

It's also going to be hard to miss him out there in the world doing his job.

Jordan Wilmore college basketball stats

Wilmore spent his first two seasons at Mizzou but played only 18 games overall.

He then went to Northwestern State, where he had 12 starts in 28 games in the 2022-23 season. He averaged 0.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game.

Then at Austin Peay to close out his career in 2023-24, he played in 17 games with two starts and averaged 1.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game.

Wilmore, originally from Maryland, never quite put the full package together on the basketball court.

Now, he's taking his incredible height into a new gig.
