The St. Louis Cardinals officially lost an outfielder from the organization on Monday night.
"Bligh Madris is finalizing a deal with the SSG Landers of the KBO, per sources," Francys Romero wrote on X.
Madris, 30, hit .277/.389/.519 with 14 home runs in 71 games with Triple-A Memphis before leaving for the Korea Baseball Organization.
He has played parts of three Major League seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Houston Astros, and most recently, the Detroit Tigers.
In 72 career MLB games, Madris has managed a below-par .560 OPS with just two homers in 228 trips to the plate.
Madris appears to be replacing Guillermo Heredia in the Landers' outfield. Heredia is managing a rotator cuff injury, reports The Chosun Daily.
"KBO teams are limited to three foreign-born players from outside Asia on their active roster," Anthony Franco of MLB Trade Rumors wrote.

"The Landers have reshuffled their foreign player mix during the season, recently signing pitchers Thomas Hatch and Pedro Avila while waiving Mitch White and Anthony Veneziano."
Madris can boost his stock in South Korea and potentially make a return to affiliated ball later this year or next spring.
