LeBron James continues to be the biggest story during the NBA's offseason, just like he did in 2010. Another decision is coming up for him because he is looking to sign for a team in free agency. One of the teams that wanted to sign him was the Minnesota Timberwolves, but they are outside the top three.
As the Timberwolves' superstar, Anthony Edwards is the player often considered when talking about the team. Since he is the face of the franchise, he will be the biggest name mentioned during a pitch to sign LeBron. However, it seems the 41-year-old icon is not that interested in signing with the Timberwolves.
Anthony Edwards is already moving on from the possibility of playing with LeBron James
After parting ways with the Los Angeles Lakers, it seems LeBron has been weighing his options with super agent Rich Paul. There have been teams floating around as the top options, including a reunion with the Miami Heat, a homecoming with the Cleveland Cavaliers, an improbable signing with the Golden State Warriors, and a sensible signing with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Timberwolves are considered one of the teams outside the favorites that have a chance. Playing alongside both Edwards and LaMelo Ball could pan out well for LeBron, but it seems that he does not prefer to go to the Twin Cities.

LeBron could be an elite addition to the team because he meshes well with the team. Ball, Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, and Rudy Gobert would have been a fantastic core to fit into, but it seems that won't be the case, and the Timberwolves' superstar has accepted that.
"I have nothing to say about it because I’ve seen his top three teams; we’re not in it," Edwards said when asked about LeBron potentially signing with the Timberwolves.
Of course, there is still a chance that LeBron does end up signing with the Timberwolves. However, it will be an uphill battle for them because the other teams are compelling enough to be the right team to sign for with the four-time Finals MVP.
