Burner accounts have proven all the rage in the NBA in recent months. Five months after Kevin Durant drew the internet's ire after reportedly blasting his Rockets teammates in social media DMs, another NBA headliner faced repercussions for alleged comments he made on socials.

Tyler Herro's Heat career came to a close after he was sent to the Bucks as part of the package to land Giannis Antetokounmpo. He is alleged to have made disparaging comments towards his longest-tenured teammate during his time in Vice City, Bam Adebayo.

The remarks were considered so incendiary that they reportedly led to a physical squabble with the three-time All-Star.

Bam Adebayo-Tyler Herro fight

Adebayo and Herro reportedly got into a physical altercation at a practice court in Las Vegas on Friday morning, per ESPN's Shams Charania. The incident saw Adebayo strike Herro, according to Charania.

The exchange is believed to have stemmed from comments Herro made on social media regarding Adebayo's play during their seven-year stint together, per Charania. Herro, speaking to a fan through an alleged burner account following his trade to the Bucks, slated Adebayo for his performances with the Miami, claiming he was not worthy of his contract.

What did Tyler Herro say about Bam Adebayo?

Herro reportedly blasted his former teammate during an exchange with a fan on Instagram DMs, casting doubt over Adebayo's value to the team while suggesting that he — not Adebayo — was Miami's biggest threat.

"It's a mf making 60 million but they worried about me and what I do," Herro reportedly wrote.

When the fan responded by praising Adebayo, Herro was reportedly bemused.

"You should get paid 60 million to be a top tier defender on some nights? I'm just wondering," the newly-minted Milwaukee guard wrote.

Herro also declared that he was the team's most pivotal player following Jimmy Butler's departure.

"If I'm healthy they can't see me," Herro wrote. "Word to my mother. If I'm healthy, I'm the one who needs help.

"When I'm healthy I need help. Not the other guy. Word to my kids."
