Best NFL free agents still available for training camp, from Stefon Diggs and Keenan Allen to Bobby Wagner

For most NFL teams, the offseason grinded to a halt about three months ago when the draft wrapped up.

Aside from June's A.J. Brown and Myles Garrett trades, which were finalized hours apart, the extent of roster-building since the draft has largely been nothing than fine-tuning around the edges.

If teams are looking for a late-summer upgrade as training camp thins depth charts and exposes vulnerabilities, there are still some intriguing options available. Former All-Pros and Pro-Bowlers are among the players still on the free-agent market, so teams seeking a quick fix aren't out of luck.

Here's a look at 15 notable names still available as NFL free agents.

Stefon Diggs, WR

• Age: 32
• 2025 stats: 17 games, 85 catches, 1,013 yards, 4 TD

It isn't often the No. 1 receiver from a team that reached the Super Bowl remains unsigned going into training camp the following season, but Stefon Diggs is still available several months after being released by the Patriots.

Diggs' release came with the backdrop of a legal saga, though he was later acquitted of felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault charges in a case involving his former personal chef. Diggs is still dealing with multiple civil lawsuits, including a claim from a man who claims he was drugged and sexually assaulted by the wide receiver in 2023.

Still, civil suits might not be enough to keep Diggs unsigned once injuries start ramping up wide receiver needs around the NFL. The 32-year-old is coming off a fully healthy, 1,000-yard season in New England, and he's posted 1,000-yard seasons with three different teams across 11 seasons.

Tyreek Hill, WR

• Age: 32
• 2025 stats: 4 games, 21 catches, 265 yards, 1 TD

A couple of years ago, the thought of Tyreek Hill being unsigned this late in the offseason would have been inconceivable. Unfortunately, Hill's time away from the field may not be ending anytime soon. The former Chiefs and Dolphins star recently said he still has "no power" in the left leg he severely injured last season, though he claimed his timeline to play football again is "looking real good."

Hill plans to play again, but whether he can play in 2026 — and when that might be — is still entirely unclear.

Bobby Wagner, LB

• Age: 36
• 2025 stats: 17 games, 162 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 2 interceptions

2025 was Bobby Wagner's first season without any All-Pro selection since 2013, but there is no doubt he can offer something to a team's defense after 14 seasons of Hall of Fame production. It's been an eerily quiet offseason for Wagner, but he hasn't indicated he plans to retire after two seasons with the Commanders and could be a late-summer addition for a contender.

Deebo Samuel, WR

• Age: 30
• 2025 stats: 16 games, 72 catches, 727 yards, 5 touchdowns

It was only less than 18 months ago that Deebo Samuel was somewhat of a blockbuster addition for the Commanders, but the former 49ers receiver struggled to live up to expectations in Washington, finishing the season with 727 yards despite staying healthy enough to play 16 games. Still a useful gadget player at the very least, Samuel figures to get some looks when teams become more receiver-needy.

Keenan Allen, WR

• Age: 34
• 2025 stats: 17 games, 81 catches, 777 yards, 4 touchdowns

Keenan Allen's return to the Chargers could have been a nice way to end a great career, but he appears to be ready to play a 14th season after staying fully healthy last year. Allen put up 777 yards and four touchdowns in L.A., though his 9.6 yards per catch marked the fewest of his career. Allen could interest teams if he's willing to accept a complementary role as his career winds down.

Najee Harris, RB

• Age: 28
• 2025 stats: 3 games, 61 rushing yards, 0 touchdowns, 4.1 yards per carry

Najee Harris joined the Chargers after starting his career with four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, but his quest for a fifth ended abruptly with a torn Achilles just three games into 2025. That's a tough injury for a running back to come back from, but Harris went down early enough that he should be available for the 2026 season.

Joey Bosa, EDGE

• Age: 31
• 2025 stats: 15 games, 5.0 sacks, 16 QB hits, 5 forced fumbles

Joey Bosa has a lengthy injury history, but managed to play and start 15 games for the Bills last season. That still hasn't been enough to entice teams, after he settled for only five sacks along with 16 quarterback hits. Bosa did force five fumbles, his best mark since 2021, and he could be worth a flier for teams that need a pass-rush boost.

Marshon Lattimore, CB

• Age: 30
• 2025 stats: 9 games, 1 interception, 7 pass deflections

Marshon Lattimore was released after struggling on a bloated salary and tearing his ACL with the Commanders last season, and he hasn't yet found a team for 2026. Between the serious injury and the reality that he wasn't nearly as effective as he once was even before the injury, Lattimore could have a hard time latching on with a team in the near future.

Taylor Decker, OT

• Age: 32
• 2025 stats: 14 games, 2 sacks allowed, 33 pressures allowed

The Lions and longtime left tackle Taylor Decker couldn't agree on a restructured deal this offseason, leading to the 32-year-old's release. Despite his body taking some blows over the years, Decker wants to continue playing and could become an option for teams that deal with tackle injuries ahead of the season.

Haason Reddick, EDGE

• Age: 31
• 2025 stats: 13 games, 2.5 sacks, 6 QB hits, 1 forced fumble

Not much has gone right for Haason Reddick since his holdout with the Jets extended into the 2024 season. He settled for a one-year deal in Tampa Bay after an ineffective stint in New York and didn't produce much with the Buccaneers, posting 2.5 sacks in 13 games, but a team in need of pass-rush help could try to see if something is left in the tank.

Tayson Hill, TE

• Age: 35
• 2025 stats: 114 rushing yards, 1 touchdown, 91 receiving yards

Swiss Army knife Taysom Hill's time in New Orleans appears to be up, and he hasn't yet found a home for 2026. Hill is a player unlike any other, as he doesn't fit into one particular box but became useful under Sean Payton and was kept around by his successors with the Saints. Set to turn 36 before the start of the season, it's unclear what kind of interest Hill has received from around the league.

Von Miller, EDGE

• Age: 29
• 2025 stats: 17 games, 9.0 sacks, 15 QB hits

The NFL's active sack leader, Von Miller could have rode off into the sunset after a 15th season but says he wants to continue playing after recording nine sacks over a full 17 games with the Commanders. Miller has started three games over the last three years, so he's likely to be a rotational pass-rusher at his next destination.

Bobby Okereke, LB

• Age: 30
• 2025 stats: 17 games, 143 tackles, 2 interceptions, 6 pass deflections

Bobby Okereke was left out of the musical chairs at the linebacker position this offseason, never landing with a new team after being released by the Giants. The veteran started all 17 games last season, though he recorded only two tackles for loss after 17 between 2023 and 2024.

DeAndre Hopkins, WR

• Age: 34
• 2025 stats: 17 games, 22 catches, 330 yards, 2 touchdowns

DeAndre Hopkins had some positive moments with the Ravens last season, but he appears to be weighing retirement after joining the Patriots in a coaching role at the start of training camp. Mike Vrabel cautioned that Hopkins is simply trying out the role, so a team that comes calling could still interest the former All-Pro, but Hopkins might be leaning toward calling it a career after 13 seasons.

Jadeveon Clowney, EDGE

• Age: 33
• 2025 stats: 13 games, 8.5 sacks, 10 QB hits, 1 forced fumble

Jadeveon Clowney has been a journeyman since his trade out of Houston in 2019, playing for six different teams in seven years, and he could make it a seventh in 2026 after a solid season in Dallas. Clowney fulfilled his role as a rotational pass-rusher with the Cowboys, recording 8.5 sacks in 13 games as Dallas tried to fill the Micah Parsons-shaped void in its defense.
