Caitlin Clark on Tuesday set a new benchmark as she became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 250 points and 100 assists in a season.
Clark achieved the milestone with yet another 20/10 double-double: she recorded 25 points and 14 assists for the Indiana Fever in their 113-91 win over the Toronto Tempo in the WNBA Commissioner's Cup.

The 22-point win marked the Fever's fourth successive victory, but it was still a bittersweet night in Indianapolis.
The Fever knew before the game that they would not have the chance to defend the Commissioner's Cup, as the New York Liberty will represent the Eastern Conference in the championship game.
That is despite Indiana accruing an impressive 5-1 record in Commissioner's Cup group play. The Liberty though went 6-0.
In addition, the Tempo's Brittney Sykes suffered a nasty non-contact lower leg injury in the third quarter, and the All-Star guard did not return. Her injury could have significant repercussions on the postseason chase and on Toronto's hopes of making the playoffs as an expansion franchise.
Man, prayers up for Brittney Sykes. Looks like her knee gave out again. It's serious though, you can see her reaction. Check it out in this clip. #20. Off the ball. :( pic.twitter.com/aLlJLBsz66

And Clark is at the center of the turnaround after she dropped 14 dimes against the Tempo -- behind only her 19-assist game against the Dallas Wings in July 2024 for the best passing performance of her young career.
