Alcaraz's presence quickly became one of the biggest talking points of the event. Fans gathered around the VIP area hoping to catch a glimpse of one of the most recognizable athletes in the world while he watched top padel stars Arturo Coello, Alejandro Galán, Mike Yanguas and Javi Leal compete in front of a packed crowd.

The appearance of one of the world’s biggest tennis stars also highlighted the growing relationship between tennis and padel. The lesser known of the two racquet sports has seen a surge in popularity around the world in recent years.

Following the opening match, Alcaraz spent time with Coello, the top ranked padel player in the world. The two athletes represent some of the biggest names in their respective sports and their meeting drew plenty of attention from attendees.

Both athletes also caught the eye of watch enthusiasts. As Rolex ambassadors, Coello wore a Rolex Daytona while Alcaraz sported a Rolex Daytona Le Mans in yellow gold, one of the brand's most sought after models.

Reserve Cup has increasingly become a destination for prominent figures from sports, entertainment and business. Earlier this year, Reserve Cup Miami attracted guests including Mark Wahlberg, Derek Jeter, 50 Cent, DJ Khaled and Braxton Berrios.

Alcaraz's appearance served as another sign of padel's growing profile. One of tennis' biggest stars chose to spend part of his day watching the sport's elite compete, giving another boost to a game that continues to expand its reach worldwide.
