Celtics’ Jaylen Brown’s real feelings revealed on trade chatter, and it might surprise some

1 day ago 5

It only seems fair to say that Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics has been very frustrated with everything that's gone on over the past few months.

Whether that be being the top option on a team that was one of the best in the NBA and then getting disrespected after that, trade rumors, and many suggestions stating that he doesn't like being the second option in Boston, it almost has to feel disrespectful to the former Finals MVP and the $300 million man.

Unfortunately, those aren't things that are going to slow down anytime soon, especially after the Giannis Antetokounmpo noise. Brown is among the elite players in the NBA, and there's certainly an argument to be made that he's a bit polarizing in terms of how he views himself on the court.

He plays with a bit of an attitude, one that suggests he isn't always happy. However, according to the latest report, it isn't accurate that he's upset about everything that's gone on regarding the trade rumors.

“The Celtics are still the team to watch when it comes to the next big NBA trade, as they are being approached with offers for Jaylen Brown.

“They can afford to be patient with the process, and team president Brad Stevens said on Tuesday he has been in consistent communication with Brown throughout the offseason and he can “empathize” with the difficulty of a player having his name in rumors. The assumption that Brown is ticked off because of all the chatter is not likely accurate,” Sean Deveney of Heavy reported.

While I find this very hard to believe, I don't think it's insane to say that he's just a little frustrated, and not absolutely freaking out about it.

Only time will tell in that regard, though it doesn't really seem like it will matter much, as reports have also indicated that Brown is available if the Celtics are willing to move him.
