Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp already has the beard covered. Now, he's mixing it up with his hair.

During a pre-game interview ahead of Los Angeles' wild-card game vs. Minnesota, Kupp was interviewed to talk about the week the team has had while their home city is battling wildfires. The wide receiver wasn't wearing a helmet and revealed some new braids. With the long beard, Kupp's hair is typically unkempt and makes him look like a caveman, though he has been known to buzz it.

Cooper Kupp's braids, explained

We don't normally see Kupp's hair, as it is usually under a helmet. The wide receiver also tends to do media appearances with a hat on. Still, when we have seen Kupp's hair, it has either been buzzed or long, with not much really in between.

When most people think of the Rams wide receiver, they likely think of his long hair covering his face, like when he had straight longer hair earlier this season. So, when viewers saw the drastic change to braids, it was shocking for many.

We don't know exactly know why we decided to go with the braids ahead of the playoff game, but clearly, he felt he needed a change. We wish him the best of luck with that.
