After a few weeks of speculation, LeBron James has made his decision, and that is to join the Philadelphia 76ers. While Philly was on the shortlist, it was a relatively surprising decision, especially since he was heavily rumored to reunite with either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Miami Heat.

Choosing the 76ers does make sense because it is the best fit for LeBron, while also being the best chance he has for winning a championship. His old pal Dwyane Wade trusts that his former running mate made the right decision for him and his goals.

James already has one of the greatest legacies in all of sports. He is a four-time champion, Finals MVP, and regular season MVP. While the last of those achievements is unlikely, he could win another championship and Finals MVP with this decision to sign with Philly.

He might be 41 now, but he can still hoop like the best players in the league. LeBron might need more game and injury management now, but he still has elite basketball IQ, and his athleticism is still at a high level.

As one of his closest friends and former teammates, Wade knows how James thinks. That is why it might be a bit surprising that he went to Philly, but it should not be a shocker that he went to a team that he can win with.

"LeBron is never going to do what you think he’s going to do. I don’t think any of us had Philly pinned as the number one team. It's right on brand. When I look at that, they're going to compete for a championship right now. He has a chance to get that fifth or sixth championship," Wade said on the Post Moves Show hosted by Candace Parker and Aliyah Boston.

It will be interesting to see how James will pan out in Philly. He definitely has the talent and basketball IQ to mesh well with the rest of the team's stars. However, it might not be enough to knock off the top teams like the New York Knicks, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the San Antonio Spurs.
