With just three total matches to go just prior to Wednesday's kickoff, England and Argentina will serve as the only World Cup game of the day.

The semifinals are here, with France and Spain playing the day prior to this match. With the game's heightened sense of importance, many fans have begun asking questions as to who Fox will put in their announcer's box to commentate on the match.

England vs. Argentina World Cup semifinal announcers

John Strong and Stu Holden

Fox's top team of John Strong and Stu Holden will call England vs. Argentina from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the second of their two semifinal matches behind the microphone.

Rebecca Lowe and Jules Breach will serve as on-site studio hosts, while Tom Rinaldi, Geoff Shreeves and Katie Shanahan will serve as on-site reporters for Fox.

Strong and Holden received both assignments for the World Cup semifinals with both matches a full day apart without being too far away from each other. The 41-year-old was on the call for Fox for the World Cup final in both 2018 and 2022, and he's on track to call another final with the network giving him both semifinal games this year.
