Erling Haaland's insane $10K Western purchases in private shopping spree during World Cup revealed

When Erling Haaland wasn't intimidating other footballers on the field, he was going off to buy some unique pieces to honor his World Cup experience.

Haaland and Norway's national team was sent home after losing to England 1-2 on July 11. Before the Norwegian striker boarded the plane, he made sure to stop by a Western shop in Dallas to bring some mementos home.

The Norwegian striker went to Wild Bill's Western Store in Dallas, according to TMZ, where he and four of his teammates blew thousands of dollars on Western gear. He purchased two taxidermy squirrels -- one wearing a sheriff hat and the other "drinking" a can of Budweiser -- which were about $450 each.

Haaland also was seen getting off the plane with a taxidermy raccoon holding a liquor bottle. That one cost $750.

Additionally, Haaland and his teammates bought more traditional pieces like cowboy boots, cowboy hats, western shirts and belt buckles. The bill rang up to about $10,000, and Haaland treated him and his teammates to the new gear.

Haaland has some new friends to get over his quarterfinal loss to England, where his Real Madrid teammate, Jude Bellingham, advanced to the semifinals. England will play Argentina tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET following France and Spain's match at 3 p.m. ET today.
