Fever's Kelsey Mitchell is obliterating the WNBA competition with recent stats

Kelsey Mitchell is often overshadowed by Caitlin Clark.

That's just how it works in the Indiana Fever orbit, but it doesn't seem to bother Mitchell. She just keeps doing her thing as one of the most dangerous scoring guards in the WNBA.

Take Friday night, for example -- Mitchell dropped an efficient 30 points. That just happened to be the night Clark had 45 points and 10 assists.

But then on Saturday, Clark was much quieter, and Mitchell took over in the third quarter.

Indiana knows it can count on Mitchell. Her smooth southpaw game gets the ball in the bucket from all three levels.

Lately, she's scoring better than everyone in the WNBA. Her 27.3 points per game average over her last 10 games is tops in the league:

If anything, the biggest problem the Fever have is simply giving Mitchell the ball.

When she's on the floor with Clark, there are times when it feels like Mitchell hasn't gotten a touch in a few possessions. 

But as long as Indiana keeps getting Mitchell involved, she'll keep delivering. She's too talented, too skilled, too smooth and too consistent not to get the job done.

When the Fever let Mitchell cook, they're as dangerous as any team in the league. And lately, she's been scorching hot.
