Fleetwood Mac’s Hugely Popular Album Reaches A Chart Milestone

Fleetwood Mac’s catalog is one of the most valuable in music history. The British-American pop-rock band racked up dozens of hits throughout the years, while the group’s masterpiece, Rumours, remains one of the bestselling traditional studio albums of all time – and it is only one of 17 LPs from the rockers.

Decades after many of Fleetwood Mac’s most famous songs were released, the band maintains a constant presence on charts around the world. In the United Kingdom, Rumours alone is not enough to satisfy listeners’ demand. The outfit also regularly appears with 50 Years – Don’t Stop, and this frame, thst compilation reaches the same major longevity milestone on two rankings.

Fleetwood Mac’s 50 Years – Don’t Stop Reaches 400 Weeks

50 Years – Don’t Stop celebrates its four-hundredth week on the Official Albums chart, which ranks the most-consumed albums and EPs in the U.K. using both sales and streaming activity. The singles set slips two spaces to No. 10, but manages to find space inside the highest tier as it reaches the milestone.

The collection simultaneously makes it to 400 weeks on the Official Albums Streaming chart as well, where purchases do not matter, but plays on sites like Spotify, Apple Music and others are everything.50 Years – Don’t Stop performs even better on that roster, climbing from No. 5 to No. 3.

Those are the only two charts where the compilation appears in the U.K. this week, and it lives within the top 10 on both of them. Its No. 3 showing on the streaming tally also brings 50 Years – Don’t Stop within one rung of matching its all-time peak of No. 2.

Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours Remains the Band’s Champion

While 400 weeks is an enormous sum for any act and any piece of music, 50 Years – Don’t Stop still trails Rumours by a wide margin on the Official Albums chart. The studio classic has now spent 1,158 weeks as one of the 100 most-consumed projects in the country.

Only two additional Fleetwood Mac releases have accumulated triple-digit runs on the main albums roster across the Atlantic. The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac, another compilation, managed 360 weeks, while Tango in the Night has collected 123 stays since debuting in April 1987.

Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours Lives on Six U.K. Charts

Rumours does not currently appear inside the top 10 on any U.K. chart, but it can be found on three times as many lists as 50 Years – Don’t Stop. The album is present on half a dozen tallies and is a top 40 win on all but one.

The beloved set appears within the top 40 on the Official Vinyl Albums, Official Albums Sales, Official Physical Albums, Official Albums Streaming and Official Albums charts, landing at Nos. 16, 26, 26, 29 and 32, respectively. It falls beneath that tier only on the Official Album Downloads ranking, where it slips to No. 60.

Rumours has peaked inside the top three on five of those six lists. The project only missed that region on the Official Albums Streaming chart, where it topped out at No. 12 – just two spaces away from the top 10. The blockbuster recording has accumulated triple-digit stays on every ranking in the U.K. where it can be found this frame.

Fleetwood Mac Claims Two Rising Hits in the U.K.

Fleetwood Mac also fills two spaces on both the Official Singles and Official Streaming charts, and everywhere the band lies, it improves from only a few days ago. “Dreams” lifts five rungs to No. 69 on the main songs tally and inches upward to No. 42 on the streaming-focused list.

“Everywhere” returns to the Official Singles chart at No. 96, doubling Fleetwood Mac’s representation on the competitive ranking. Simultaneously, the cut leaps 10 spaces to No. 67 on the Official Streaming roster.
