While fans never got the film sequel many hoped for, a new TV adaptation of the books is reportedly in the works.
Millennials were sent into a frenzy when casting director Rachel Sheridan took to Instagram to announce a search for the next generation of Georgia Nicolson and co.

The pilot casting call was looking for adult actors who could convincingly pass as 15 or 16, with filming reportedly scheduled between May and October 2027. Due to and overwhelming amoung of "brilliant submissions", the casting call came to an early close.
But before a new cast steps into the world of teenage chaos, we’re looking back at the original stars and where they are now...

After stealing the show as Georgia Nicolson, Georgia Groome continued acting but stepped away from the major spotlight that followed Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.
She went on to appear in projects including the 2011 drama The Holding and the horror-comedy Double Date in 2017.
Away from acting, Groome has kept much of her personal life private. She has been in a long-term relationship with Harry Potter star Rupert Grint since 2011, with the couple welcoming their first child, daughter Wednesday, in 2020 and their second daughter, Goldie, in 2025.

He became known internationally for roles in Kick-Ass, Nowhere Boy, and Avengers: Age of Ultron, before taking on major roles in films including Tenet, The King’s Man, and Bullet Train.
He has also continued his family life away from the spotlight, having married filmmaker Sam Taylor-Johnson in 2012 after meeting while working on Nowhere Boy.
