It’s fair to say that Prince Harry has always been widely regarded as the funniest and most charismatic member of the royal family, with the prince becoming renowned for his great sense of humor and comedic timing over the years.

As just one example, who could forget that time he teamed up with his granny, Queen Elizabeth II, to playfully respond to Barack and Michelle Obama’s fighting talk ahead of the 2016 Invictus Games?

If you didn’t know, Joe is a British rugby player turned media personality who is known for his incredibly dry and deadpan sense of humor, and you might recognize him from the first series of Celebrity Traitors UK. His podcast is set up to be a faux therapy session, and usually involves him and the guests poking fun at one another in a very lighthearted way, accompanied by his assistant, Jake Bhardwaj.

And I’m pleased to report that Harry’s appearance on the show absolutely did not disappoint, with the prince immediately getting involved with the gags and wasting no opportunity to poke fun at eternally self-deprecating Joe, as well as himself.

In fact, I’d argue that his British sense of humor was on full display, with Harry expertly joining in on the sarcasm, dryness, and ribbing — winning the praise of viewers everywhere. Reacting to a clip from the episode on TikTok, one comment reads: "His comic timing is spot on.” Somebody else wrote: “Nah this man is actually hilarious and no one can tell me otherwise,” while one more shared: “I really do not understand how people don’t like Harry. He has and always has been one of the best royals.” Another jokingly concluded: “Ive seen enough! Give this man the Crown!”

So, without further ado, here are some of the funniest moments from the episode:
As mentioned, host Joe is nothing if not self-deprecating, and Harry was quick to jump on board with this format. When Jake asked if Harry was ever a fan of Joe back when he was still a rugby pro, Harry was brutally honest — bluntly admitting that he’d never really seen Joe play, before calling out Joe's reaction:

He soon appeared to regret this fighting talk, getting distracted by just how big Joe’s hands are after he was called out for his “aggressive start.” But not so regretful that he couldn’t resist making one last jab…

It was then time for Harry to fill out his intake form, and when he shared his full name with Joe, Jake couldn’t resist commenting… Which Harry was quick to hit back at:

Once again, Joe’s British sense of humor is incredibly dry and deadpan, which Harry was quick to match. This included sharing his honest, weirded-out response to Joe wearing a ring with his initial engraved on it, leading to a brilliant call-back to the big hands gag from earlier:

And when Joe bizarrely referred to Harry as the “inventor” of the Invictus Games, rather than the more grammatically correct “founder,” Harry couldn’t resist getting another ribbing in. Acknowledging the faux tension, he then alluded to the fact that he goes to therapy IRL, which, to be honest, we love in any man.

If you’re starting to get confused by any of these jokes, then you should know that the British way of expressing love is mostly through teasing and being a little mean, and this was exemplified when Harry was asked for the most famous person in his contacts. While he undoubtedly has a whole bunch of ridiculously famous names in his phone book, he listed two rugby players who Joe is known for having a playful on-pitch beef with instead. To rub salt in the wound, he and Jake then gushed over how great at rugby and good-looking the two men are:

This wasn’t exactly funny, but I was simply gagged to see Prince Harry admit to watching Love Island — and Joe seemingly felt the same way:

And this conversation led to Jake taking the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ask Prince Harry about the reality TV show that was inspired by him, I Wanna Marry 'Harry.' Harry confirmed that he’d heard of it and seemed lighthearted enough about the show, although he was clearly confused when Jake referred to the lookalike used in the series as a random ginger guy from Stoke.

Speaking of his famous red hair, Harry had Joe fighting back tears of laughter when he remained completely deadpan while insisting that he prefers his locks to be described as “sunset” or “auburn.” The royal perfectly feigned offense as the crew laughed at the absurdity, which led to Jake’s iconic quote: “Can we not laugh at the Duke, please.”

When asked which other Harry he'd like to switch places with for a day: Harry Styles, footballer Harry Kane, or Harry Potter, Harry chose Harry Kane on a "winning day." However, he did take a moment to appreciate Harry Styles's tiny shorts, with a very cheeky glint in his eye!

And he wasn't above poking fun at himself either, addressing the constant scrutiny that his thinning hair gets in the best possible way. For reference, this came after Harry described his "grooming routine" as "shit, shower, shave."

He also wasn't afraid to call things out when Joe made things, well, a bit weird:

Finally, after it was noted that Harry and Joe had wildly different backgrounds, with Joe growing up in social housing while Harry was in, well, a palace, he was quizzed on if they had the same cultural references. Harry proved himself to be a man of the people as he recalled washing machine jingles and reality TV show catchphrases, but couldn’t hide his confusion at the implication that he wouldn’t be aware of the same TV commercials:

For what it's worth, I fully recommend Londoners checking out the brilliant "See It, Say It, Sorted" moment from this segment which is at around the 24:20 mark.
The episode did take on a more serious tone at times, with Harry opening up about dealing with trauma as well as the Invictus Games. There was also more hilarity when he was joined by his close friend and war veteran JJ Chalmers, which is why everybody should check out the full episode here.

In the meantime, you can watch some of the aforementioned moments below! As always, let me know your thoughts in the comments:
