Haley Cavinder is embracing married life, and she's doing it in paradise. Just days after marrying Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, the former Miami basketball standout and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model shared a collection of photos from the couple's honeymoon in the Bahamas. The newlyweds have been soaking up the tropical scenery following their June 20 wedding, with Cavinder giving her Instagram followers a behind-the-scenes look at their first vacation as husband and wife.
The post quickly drew attention as fans celebrated the couple and their latest milestone before Ferguson turns his focus back to football.
Haley Cavinder gives fans a glimpse of newlywed life
Cavinder posted a series of photos and videos from the Bahamas, where she and Ferguson have been enjoying their honeymoon. The first image featured Cavinder taking a selfie aboard a boat surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise water. She wore an emerald green bikini paired with a beige crocheted bucket hat, oversized sunglasses and a shell necklace while enjoying the tropical weather.
She captioned the post:
"Happy wife, happy life! 🍯🌙🌴."
The carousel also included snapshots of the couple relaxing on the water, including one photo of Ferguson kissing his new wife aboard the boat.
Ferguson shared his own honeymoon album, writing:
"Honeymoon at @bahamarresorts with my WIFE."
The vacation comes less than two weeks after the couple officially tied the knot.
Ferguson and Cavinder celebrated their wedding in Miami
The couple exchanged vows on June 20 at the iconic Biltmore Hotel in Miami after nearly three years together. Ferguson and Cavinder began dating in September 2023 before the Cowboys tight end proposed in April 2025. Since then, Cavinder has become a familiar face supporting Ferguson throughout his NFL career, often attending Cowboys games and sharing moments from their relationship on social media.
Before becoming one of the NFL's most recognizable couples, Cavinder built an impressive athletic résumé of her own. She starred at Fresno State before transferring to Miami, finishing her five-year college basketball career with more than 2,500 points while also becoming one of the most influential NIL athletes in the country alongside her twin sister, Hanna.

Cowboys expecting another big season from Ferguson
While the honeymoon has provided a chance to unwind, Ferguson will soon shift his attention back to the Cowboys as training camp approaches. The former Wisconsin standout is coming off the best season of his NFL career, recording 82 receptions for 600 yards and a career-high eight touchdown catches in 2025.
Dallas rewarded that production with a four-year, $52 million contract extension last offseason, cementing Ferguson as one of Dak Prescott's top offensive weapons entering the 2026 campaign. For now, however, football can wait. Ferguson and Cavinder appear to be making the most of their first days as newlyweds, sharing a tropical honeymoon that has already become one of the NFL offseason's most talked-about moments.
