We can hardly believe it, but, after waiting almost THREE WHOLE YEARS*, fans of Apple TV+'s Severance are days away from finally getting a second season of the show.

Yes, you read that correctly: The Season 1 finale of Severance was in April of...2022.

When we last saw our "Innies" at Lumon, all of our collective jaws were on the floor when we found out that Helly isn't like every other Innie at the company — she's actually an Eagan, aka a member of the family that owns Lumon.

And though audiences had many, many questions after the finale, we're so close to getting some answers since Season 2 is picking up right after the events of the end of Season 1.

To refresh your memory ahead of the Season 2 premiere, here's a breakdown of some of our main characters and where we last saw them:

Apple TV+

Where we last saw him: Mark realized that his late wife Gemma (Dichen Lachman) might not be as dead as he thought she was. It turns out she's actually Ms. Casey, aka the Lumon's wellness counselor. He shares this information before his Innie is shut down.

Helly, played by Britt Lower:

Woman seated in an office setting, holding a photo, wearing a blue sweater and beige skirt, with a computer in the background

Where we last saw her: After finding out that Helly is the daughter of Lumon CEO Jame Eagan, we learn that she was a part of the company's plan to convince the government to legalize "severance" by showing how much she "enjoyed" being severed. However, at the company's big gala, Helly's innie takes over and reveals the truth.

Irving, played by John Turturro:

Where we last saw him: Irving's innie showed up at his crush's house — Burt (played by Christopher Walken) — only to find that Burt's Outie is already married to another man right before his own Innie is shut down.

Dylan, played by Zach Cherry:

Where we last saw him: Unfortunately, Dylan (who loves a good conspiracy theory) was tackled to the ground while attempting to take down Lumon.

Harmony, played by Patricia Arquette, and Milchick, played by Tramell Tillman:

Where we last saw them: Harmony, Mark's boss on the inside and his neighbor on the outside, realizes that Mark's Innie has made it out and alerts Milchick, who then tackles Dylan to the ground and turns off the machine.

And though we don't know too much about their characters yet, eight new cast members have been added to show, including Gwendoline Christie and Alia Shawkat:
