Star Lord
Marvel RivalsMarvel Rivals has dumped out a fair number of free skins since it arrived, albeit many of them are pretty close to recolors. Now? They’re giving players a new one that is better than the ones they’ve done in the past, or at least more involved (hard to beat OG Thor from the still-going seasonal event).
That would be a new free skin for Star Lord for Marvel Rivals, from the Fortune and Colors event that has players playing Rocket League, I mean Lucioball, I mean Clash of the Dancing Lions, in order to unlock currency to make their way through a free mini battle pass. Here’s how it works, and it’s really not all that hard. It also doesn’t require purely playing the mode.
- First, learn how to play the mode. You have three characters to use, Black Widow, Star Lord and Iron Fist. Both have ways of taking the ball from other players, but Star Lord can fly, Black Widow and Spring and Iron Fist and triple jump as a way to try to score goals. First to 10 wins.
- Second, there are specific event missions that will appear for the duration of the event that reward you special Danquin Paint currency. Easier missions will give you 40, a bit longer ones will give you 100.

NetEase- Third, you do not need to only play this mode to earn Danquin. It’s not in the daily main game challenges, but in the longer challenges for season 1 here, you can earn 25+ Danquin every time you complete one, so 75+ extra or so every view days.
- Then, you get to painting on the battle pass for the event, and the easiest way to get there is clicking on it from the main homepage. Even 100 Danquin earned you will be able to paint a new section of the mural and advance through the pass. The Star Lord skin, Lion’s Mane, is the sixth item in the pass, and there is a gallery card after it.
Star Lord
Marvel RivalsThis is a much easier skin to earn that the classic Thor skin, which requires way more challenges and way more investment. It’s much closer to the Jeff limited time skin which had his own event. There are of course Black Widow and Iron Fist lion skins, which you can preview in the mode itself, but those are traditionally pricey, either 2800 for the bundle. If not Iron Fist is 2200 by itself or 1600 for Black Widow. Not quite sure where there’s such a difference there. It’s not clear if you’ll ever be able to buy the Star Lord skin after this, so I’d get it now.
