Is Tom Brady joining WWE? Reports indicate NFL legend is in talks with pro wrestling company

While many traditional NFL viewers can only imagine all-time great Tom Brady on the gridiron, it may be time to start imagining the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback inside a WWE ring.

Brady has been in an ongoing "beef" with internet personality and current WWE wrestler Logan Paul, and the two have been on a collision course toward a future fight for some time now.

Whether Brady actually joins WWE remains to be seen, but it can't hurt to examine how the situation currently stands.

Here's the rundown on whether one of the NFL's all-time greats is on the move to join WWE.

Is Tom Brady joining WWE?

At the current moment, the world is still unsure whether or not the seven-time Super Bowl winner is set for a move into the WWE. According to TMZ, Brady has had talks about a potential partnership with the WWE, but nothing has been set in stone just yet.

It remains unclear what exactly will come from a Brady-WWE colaboration, but the former NFL great has had an ongoing "beef" with WWE fighter Logan Paul. At Fanatics Fest, Brady and Paul faced off before the latter slapped the former across the face.

Tom Brady connection to WWE

The NFL legend does have some ties to the WWE. First, both Brady and Ari Emanuel, the CEO of TKO Group Holdings that owns the WWE and UFC, serve as minority owners of the Las Vegas Raiders.

For the past year, Brady has also been in a prolonged beef with Paul, who is a WWE fighter himself. If the 15-time Pro Bowler does immerse himself in the WWE, a bout with Paul is thought to be guaranteed.

Brady was rumored to appear in Wrestlemania 42, according to Sports Illustrated, held in Las Vegas this past April, but the hypothetical never officially came to be. 

Is Tom Brady-Logan Paul 'feud' a build-up for a WWE match?

Many voices around social media believe the recent Brady-Paul discourse has been for show. If Brady does end up signing with the WWE in the near future, these ideas will only be confirmed.

The duo's first in-person 'altercation' occurred last week at Fanatics Fest. With 2026 NBA champion Karl Anthony-Towns standing between them, almost encouraging a standoff mirroring what is seen around the fight world, Brady slapped Paul across the face after a rather animated conversation.

Just after this, during the World Cup at MetLife Stadium, Paul and Brady were seen jawing at each other before exchanging bird flips.

During the inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic on March 21, Brady and Paul were pitted each other in a flag football game. After the NFL legend made a catch and was stopped by Paul, Brady jokingly threw the ball at the WWE athlete. Paul did not take this act too kindly and got up in the former Patriot's grill.

Has Tom Brady appeared in WWE before?

While many current and former athletes have appeared inside the WWE ring, Brady has yet to make his WWE debut as of July 20.

This may be set to change, however, as rumors have begun brewing about Brady's potential bout beginning to come to fruition sometime in the near future.
