“It Ends With Us” Author Colleen Hoover Has Returned To Instagram And Wiped Posts Related To Blake Lively And Justin Baldoni Amid Their Ongoing Legal Battle

Colleen Hoover, the author of It Ends with Us, has returned to Instagram three weeks after deactivating her account amid the ongoing legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

To quickly recap: In December, Blake filed a lawsuit against Justin, with whom she stars in the film adaptation of Colleen’s 2016 novel. The suit made a series of allegations against him, including that he’d sexually harassed her on set and attempted to “destroy” her reputation with a "social manipulation" campaign. Justin vehemently denied the allegations and then filed a lawsuit against Blake and those associated with her.

As the legal drama erupted online that month, Colleen took to Instagram to voice her support for Blake. She wrote, “@blakelively, you have been nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met. Thank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.”

For some context, the New York Times reported that Colleen had her own "dissatisfactions" with Justin. Notably, she opted not to do press alongside him when promoting It Ends with Us, though she did do press with Blake and other cast members.

Exactly a month later, Colleen deactivated her Instagram account as the drama unfolded. And now, she has returned to the platform — though a few posts have noticeably been wiped from her page.
