Jalen Brunson has been taking shots all NBA season, and now he might be able to make another one on a Hollywood set.

It's no secret that Captain Clutch is a fan of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and has a bond with the show's lead, Mariska Hargitay, and would be open to guest-starring on the show in the future. Christopher Meloni shared that he is “absolutely” supportive of Brunson being on the show.

“I don’t know if you’ve heard, but he’s a world champion, he can do whatever the hell he wants,” Meloni told TMZ

Meloni played detective Elliot Stabler on the show in May 2011 after 12 seasons on the show. He later returned to the Law & Order universe in 2021 to lead Law & Order: Organized Crime

After the Game 5 win that solidified the Knicks' first championship after 53 years, he said his next goal is to "Try to get on SVU,” the NBA Finals MVP told reporters.

The NBA champion shared on his podcast, The Roommates Show, with Knicks teammate Josh Hart. Brunson shared that he began his fandom after his father, former Knicks star and current assistant coach of the franchise, said, “I remember my dad always watching the show and you just hear the iconic (theme song) ‘don-don’ all the time. I always found myself watching the show. Honestly the older I got, the more I watched, the more I see now I’m like, ‘I’ve seen that episode,’ I’ve seen so many different episodes.”

On Thursday, June 18, the Knicks celebrated their first-ever championship parade, and Hargitay joined Brunson on the float in celebration. The actress was seen on the float alongside Brunson holding up the championship trophy.
