LeBron James may have just secretly revealed he's going to the Cleveland Cavaliers

LeBron James' appearance on a live edition of his Mind The Game Podcast with Tyrese Haliburton on Thursday at Fanatics FanFest was highly anticipated. Many wondered if James would reveal his future plans.

On the surface, though, it doesn't seem like James revealed anything. That is unless you really want to believe James dropped a subtle hint about the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The first exchange with co-host Tyrese Haliburton was a nothing-burger.

The Pacers star brought up LeBron's potential decision, and James replied, "Didn't we already talk about this in the back?" Hali responded: "I'll leave it alone."

But in a later part of the conversation, this is what LeBron said:

"That was an unbelievable ride and I am looking forward to what comes next as I wind down my journey. It’s going to be fun wherever I land.”

The last word is what hopeful Cavs fans have focused on: "land."

As in, Cleveland's nickname for itself, "The Land."

Could LeBron have been signaling a return home?

LeBron James: “Shout out my former team. I spent eight great years with the Los Angeles Lakers … That was an unbelievable ride and I am looking forward to what comes next as I wind down my journey.

“It’s going to be fun wherever I land.”

On the one hand, this simply could've been the word choice James used without thinking too much about it.

On the other hand, he's quite a calculated individual. LeBron usually knows exactly what he's doing.

It's certainly possible this was a hint of an announcement still to come that the kid from Akron, Ohio is making another return to the Cavaliers.

Northeast Ohio is certainly going to be dreaming of such news, regardless of whether a single word from James on Thursday actually meant anything or not.
