Is LeBron James joining Indiana Pacers? The internet is going wild with this idea following Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton teasing his upcoming appearance with James.

James and Haliburton are recording a live episode of James' Mind the Game podcast on Thursday at Fanatics Fest in New York City. Haliburton is filling in as a guest co-host for Steve Nash.

These two appearing together alone already had fans thinking LeBron was perhaps destined to become a member of the Pacers' squad. Now, Haliburton has sent fans into even more of a tailspin.

James has been largely linked with teams such as the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves in free agency. But, no team is really off the table. All bets are off until he signs on the dotted line.

On Wednesday, Haliburton sent out a message on X stating, "Tomorrow it's time" and tagging James.

In less than an hour, the tweet is up to more than 200,000 views and quickly growing. So, yes, the internet is going nuts. Of course, it could just be a tease for their podcast appearance. But it could be something more.

"LeBron's a Pacers?" one follower asked with a bunch of question marks and exclamation marks.

"What you mean by this, big bro?" another asked.

"It's happening" another said, with a James meme stating, "I'm going to take my talents to Indianapolis and join the Indiana Pacers."

One follower made a good point, stating, "If he announces Pacers its a win, but if he announces regardless with Tyrese next to him it's still a win." Pacers fans should be stoked for Haliburton to get this high-profile podcast appearance regardless.

So, now the NBA world waits and wonders. It's possible James' decision is coming earlier than expected, as in Thursday, but we'll find out soon enough.
