One could say the LeBron James free agency talk is getting out of control. The NBA superstar is pretty much the most sought-after free agent in the history of the sport, and each day arrives with new "updates" about where he's heading.

The latest update has fans, well, not happy. At this point, people don't want the guessing game. They want an announcement. Or, they at least want to know that an announcement is coming soon.

That wasn't what James' followers got on Monday. Instead, ESPN's Shams Charania, an NBA insider, gave the news that nobody wanted to hear.

LeBron James still hasn't let on about his next landing spot

On Monday, ESPN Cleveland shared a clip of Charania talking about the latest James development. In it, he says that James has still not made up his mind. He's still deciding.

"There is no decision, no choice yet, no timetable on a choice as of yet," he said of the decision, adding that he just talked to James' manager, Rich Paul, on Monday morning.

"So we're stuck in the ultimate cliffhanger, stay tuned for the next episode of 'LeBron's Decision: The Never‑Ending Series,'" one follower said on X.

"There's no way him and his family haven't made a decision. They're definitely waiting on some of the teams to make moves. There's just no way," another said, skeptical.

"Are we really gonna have to go another week of this?" another said.

So, now we wait. And wait. The Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers remain favorites to get James, but a range of teams are still on the table.
