New England Patriots' Drake Maye shares early impressions of A.J. Brown

A.J. Brown has been a member of the New England Patriots for a good bit of time at this point, and in that time his new teammates have gotten an opportunity to know him, both on and off of the field. 

So far, they've been impressed, especially the guy who will be charged with getting the ball to Brown. 

At a recent camp appearance, quarterback Drake Maye shared his early impressions of Brown and said that the pair has already started to develop some chemistry together. 

“A.J.’s been awesome. I’m really looking forward to playing with him. I’m looking forward to getting to camp and building some chemistry. And I know there’s already some there for me," Maye said. 

"You just gotta throw it near him, and he’ll make a play. He’s a great teammate. He’s been great so far. He loves to win, so we share that.”

This is obviously exactly what Patriots fans want to hear, but it's a little too early to take a victory lap just yet.

Lets' wait and see how Brown handles things if he goes a few games without getting as many targets or receptions as he would like, because everything was all good in Philly for Brown too, until it wasn't.

Being part of a good team isn't enough for Brown. He needs to be the main attraction. If it doesn't play out that way in New England, well, Brown certainly knows how to become a distraction.
