The New York Knicks, after winning the NBA Finals, have as big a free agency period as any team in the league. New York, saying it won't go into the second apron, will have to get creative.

The Knicks got ahead of the curve with Jose Alvarado, who they landed at the deadline this past season. The New York native declined his $4.5 million player option and plans to sign a three-year, $14 million deal, per ESPN.
The Knicks intend to keep sharpshooter Landry Shamet in town. Shamet intends to sign a four-year, $24 million contract to return to the Knicks.

According to Spotrac, the Knicks have eight free agents. The biggest of the bunch is Mitchell Robinson, followed by Jordan Clarkson, Landry Shamet, Ariel Hukporti, Jeremy Sochan, Trey Jemison, Dillon Jones, and Kevin McCullar Jr.

The Knicks haven't made any trades yet, aside from some moves during the NBA Draft.
