Speaking to Vanity Fair less than a week ago, the actress was asked if she is acquainted with Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, considering they live in the same Californian neighborhood as her, Montecito. At the time, Gwyneth said that she’d only briefly crossed paths with the Duchess of Sussex, but they’d not had the opportunity to become friends.  

“I don’t know Meghan and Harry,” Gwyneth told the publication. “I mean, I’ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don’t know her at all — maybe I’ll try to get through their security detail and bring them a pie.”
