The next smartwatch from OnePlus will go on sale on Tuesday, Feb. 18. It was unveiled last Monday and its new specs are impressive. Here’s all you need to know about the new release.

OnePlus Watch 3 in two colors.

OnePlus Watch 3: Digital Crown

Like the elegantly designed OnePlus Watch 2, the new model will have a digital crown. Unlike the previous watch, here the new design will offer functionality, too, which will be a big improvement.

“With the ability to both press and rotate, the rotating crown makes navigating through apps and menus efficient and intuitive–and ultimately the user experience even better,” Celina Shi from OnePlus told Tech Radar.

OnePlus Watch 3: Better Battery Life

The battery life on OnePlus Watch 2 was good, but it’ll be 20% better on the new Watch, it’s claimed. That means a total of 120 hours or five days. In power saver mode it’ll go longer, for up to 16 days (it was 12 days on the previous model).

And OnePlus says it will recharge faster than rivals: a 10-minute charge delivers a full day of usage.

It’s a bigger battery, too: up from 500mAh on the OnePlus Watch 2 to 631mAh on the new version.

OnePlus Watch 3: Two Chipsets

Like the last watch, this one will have two processors and what’s called dual-engine architecture. The idea behind the two chips is related to the last point: it can increase efficiency, specifically battery life.

The Snapdragon W5 processor handles intensive tasks, like running Google Maps and handling music playback. That processor carries over from the OnePlus Watch 2. That’s paired with the new BES2800 MCU Efficiency chipset.

OnePlus Watch 3: Design

OnePlus says there will be two colors for the new watch: Emerald Titanium and Obsidian Titanium. The casing of the watch, like last time, is crafted from stainless steel but the bezel on each watch will now be made from titanium. Emerald will have a silver titanium bezel while on the Obsidian it’s black.

OnePlus has only teased the new watch for now. Expect more details when the launch happens on Feb. 18.
