Robert Pattinson Shared His Shock At Hearing “Nice Guy” Matt Damon Screaming Like “A Complete Psycho” In His Trailer On “The Odyssey” Set

The star power in Christopher Nolan’s latest movie, The Odyssey, is absolutely undeniable, with everybody from Charlize Theron to Zendaya joining the lead actors Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, and Tom Holland.

As a result, the accompanying press tour has been pretty epic, with many of the famous faces grouped together to play hilarious games while partaking in interviews — many of which have gone viral on social media this week.

And one of the latest videos to be doing the rounds is Robert Pattinson’s confession that he heard Matt screaming like “a complete psycho” in his trailer one day on set, and genuinely thought that “nice guy” Matt was aggressively yelling down the phone at somebody.

The revelation came to light as Rob played a game of “Who Am I?” with Tom and Anne for MTV UK. After Anne correctly identified Matt, Rob recalled hearing concerning sounds coming from Matt’s trailer on set, which was next to his own.

“There’s a thing that Matt did, we were shooting something, and he was in the trailer next to me, and he was making these noises in the trailer,” Rob began, with Tom admitting that he’d heard these noises too.

“I was like… Because he’s such a nice guy, I thought he was on the phone. I’m like: ‘He’s a complete psycho!’” Rob went on. “He was just screaming and screaming and screaming. I’m like: ‘Either you had a really bad toilet experience or…”

Revealing what Matt was actually doing in his trailer, Rob explained: “He was blowing his voice out just to sound older,” before referencing a specific scene in the movie as another example of Matt’s work ethic. He remembered thinking: “You’re taking years off your life doing this, it’s impressive.”

Phew, thank goodness Matt wasn’t actually caught screaming down the phone at someone, and his “nice guy” rep remains intact! As always, let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
