After winning the Super Bowl, the Seattle Seahawks lost a few players to new teams in free agency. One of the more noteworthy departures was Riq Woolen leaving for a one-year prove-it deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
While the Super Bowl 59 champions added a key defender from the Super Bowl 60 champions, the Seahawks could look to return the favor this offseason with an interesting roster move.
Bleacher Report's Moe Moton named the Seahawks as a potential free agent suitor for former Eagles Super Bowl champion offensive guard, Mekhi Becton. He'd be a decent fit with the Seahawks OL, as one guard spot is still up for grabs.

"Yet when healthy, the massive interior lineman can be an asset to a team that needs insurance for an underperforming starter or intends to feature a downhill ground attack in the upcoming campaign," Moton writes. "Potential suitors: Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks."
The Seahawks could look to Becton as a fascinating depth option, or a starting-caliber guard along their offensive line for training camp and the 2026 season.
Currently, the Seahawks have Anthony Bradford as their starting right guard, and he's far from a lock to earn that starting job. Beau Stephens was drafted in the fifth round this year and could earn some playing time in 2026.
But, if the Seahawks want a more experienced lineman, and one who is a mauler in the run game, which is going to be a focus with Kenneth Walker III leaving for the Kansas City Chiefs and Zach Charbonnet out to begin the year, Becton isn't a bad option.

The 6-foot-7, 363-pound lineman was great for the Eagles in 2024, but struggled with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2025. The veteran lineman is a former first-rounder, taken 11th overall by the New York Jets during the 2020 NFL Draft.
He's started 59 games in his career, 29 of which have come as a guard in the past two seasons with the Eagles and Chargers.
Becton would be a nice depth option, and if he could return to his Eagles form, then the Seahawks could have a massive presence in the run game to help the new backs in Seattle.
This wouldn't be an expensive free-agent signing, nor would it be a total difference-maker. But, for a team with a questionable interior offensive line, specifically at right guard, where Becton thrived in 2024 with Philly, this is an intriguing pairing for Seattle.
