The San Antonio Spurs went to the NBA Finals before falling to the New York Knicks, despite having a young roster.
They want to run it back next season, and they're bringing back one of their veterans to help out.
Harrison Barnes has re-signed with the Spurs, according to the NBA's official transaction log on Wednesday.
It's not a total surprise, but it's a nice little boost for San Antonio. Barnes of course brings with him NBA championship experience from his time with the Golden State Warriors.

He got just one ring before leaving Golden State, but Barnes has been a reliable player since then, too.
Barnes spent parts of three seasons with the Dallas Mavericks, then parts of six campaigns with the Sacramento Kings.
Now, he'll be entering his third season with the Spurs.
Barnes started all 82 games in his first Spurs season in 2024-25.

In 2025-26, he started 52 of the 77 games he played and got 25.8 minutes per night. Barnes shot 38.8% from 3-point range (after being at 43.3% from deep the year prior) while averaging 9.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
Barnes turned 34 in May, but the long-ago top recruit in the Class of 2010 is still chugging along as a valuable NBA contributor.
The Spurs will continue to manage Barnes' minutes as he ages, but they know he's a winner, and for the current roster they've got, that's exactly what they need out of one of their few veterans.
