Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ Single Returns As A Bestseller

Throughout 2026, Taylor Swift has been busy pushing her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, via multiple singles featured on the project. The set has produced three proper singles: “The Fate of Ophelia,” “Opalite” and “Elizabeth Taylor.” Only the first of those tracks was selected as a promotional cut in 2025, when the full-length was still brand new.

More recently, Swift released “I Knew It, I Knew You,” her first new country track in years. The song was written and recorded for Toy Story 5, and it quickly became another major commercial win while her recent pop releases continued to perform well. This week in the United Kingdom, all four of Swift’s most recent singles appear on multiple rankings, and several return to various rosters as they become strong sellers again.

“Opalite” Becomes a U.K. Bestseller Again

Two Swift songs return to rankings in the U.K. this week, and one of them reappears on multiple lists. “Opalite,” the second single from The Life of a Showgirl, finds its way back to the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts at Nos. 83 and 89, respectively. The catchy cut has already ruled both rosters.

"Elizabeth Taylor" Returns As Well

“Elizabeth Taylor” also mounts a comeback in the U.K. at the same time. The third focus track from The Life of a Showgirl reenters the Official Vinyl Singles chart, where it’s a top 20 bestseller again, as it is back at No. 18. “Elizabeth Taylor” has now accumulated 13 weeks on the vinyl tally, and like “Opalite,” it previously ruled the tally where it returns this frame.

Vinyl Sales Send “Elizabeth Taylor” Soaring

“Elizabeth Taylor” only returns to one ranking, but it also makes one of the largest advances among Swift’s current hits. The tune pushes more than 50 spaces north on the Official Physical Singles chart, rocketing from No. 74 to No. 22. The huge improvement comes as purchases of the song on vinyl increase – a format that Swift’s fans have repeatedly shown they love.

Taylor Swift Returns to the Sales Chart’s Top 10

“I Knew It, I Knew You” remains Swift’s biggest hit in the U.K. at the moment. The Toy Story 5 track returns to the top 10 on one ranking and improves on another.

The country tune rises from No. 12 to No. 6 on the Official Singles Sales chart. It lands in that same position on the Official Singles Downloads ranking, where it advances from No. 10.

“I Knew It, I Knew You” also holds inside the top 10 on the Official Singles chart. The country’s main songs ranking combines streaming activity with purchases to determine the most popular tracks across the U.K. Swift’s latest release is steady at No. 10 in its seventh week not long after it became another leader for the superstar.

The smash does not move on the Official Streaming chart, either. It remains at No. 18 after climbing as high as No. 2, narrowly missing out on giving Swift another champion.

“The Fate of Ophelia” Appears on Four Charts

“The Fate of Ophelia” lives on the same four rankings as “I Knew It, I Knew You,” though the two singles move in different directions. The first tune pushed from The Life of a Showgirl declines slightly on the two lists that incorporate – or focus entirely – on streaming. It slips from No. 59 to No. 62 on the Official Singles chart and from No. 31 to No. 33 on the Official Streaming ranking.

At the same time, “The Fate of Ophelia” performs much better when it comes to purchases. The former No. 1 steps up 10 spaces to No. 60 on the Official Singles Sales chart and improves on the Official Singles Downloads tally, where it settles at No. 56.

The Life of a Showgirl Nearly Falls Off One Chart

The Life of a Showgirl remains both a streaming and sales success in the U.K. this week. Swift’s latest full-length manages its largest improvement on the Official Album Downloads chart, where it rises nearly 30 rungs from No. 100 — the lowest position on the tally — to No. 71. The project also makes a home on both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming rankings as well.
