Tom Cruise, prosthetics, world-ending comedy, what’s not to love?
That's right, one of the most secretive films of the year has finally released a trailer, and it looks just as bizarre as we hoped. Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, Digger is a satirical black comedy film starring Tom Cruise as Digger Rockwell, a wealthy oil baron with a Southern drawl.

The trailer shows Digger being called upon by the US President (John Goodman) to deal with and save the world from the impending doom caused by a melting iceberg (that he is responsible for).

In true Cruise fashion, he hosted a fan event for the film, celebrating the release of the first trailer, and he welcomed fans while standing on a giant shovel...

It's safe to say people are equal parts confused and intrigued by the trailer, which is seemingly the desired response considering the confusing marketing and lack of details surrounding the movie.
Until today, all we'd seen was a 'Tom Cruise Retrospective Trailer', released by Warner Bros. two weeks ago. The video poked fun at Cruise's action 'hero' stereotype, and teased the comedic role to come:
