The ‘Fortnite’ OG Chapter 1 Season 2 Map Revealed Ahead Of Its Release Date

Fortnite OG was one of the most successful experiments that Epic ran in the game in several years, a return to the glory days of the (still massively popular) game with old locations and weapons, though a few quality of life additions in tow.

Now, Epic is continuing to expand the concept with Fortnite OG Chapter 1 season 2, which is running parallel to the main game which pushes forward with new maps and new themes in Chapter 6 season 1 at present.

We now have a look at the map for OG Chapter 1 season 2, and of course you’ll find it rather familiar. Here it is:

• Pleasant Park
• Greasy Grove
• Flush Factor
• Fatal Fields
• Mosty Mire
• Salty Springs
• Retail Row
• Dusty Depot
• Lonely Lodge
• Tomato Town
• Wailing Woods
• Anarchy Acres

For many, this was considered the “best” era of Fortnite, even more than the original map as this is when Tilted Towers became one of the most iconic locations in the game. Now, it’s back and I’m sure everyone will enjoy returning to a map they may have memorized years ago, complete with old weapons and gear from that era.

Fortnite OG Chapter 1 season 2 launches in just a few days on Friday, January 31. There will not be a wait for POIs added over time, as used to happen with the game back then, so you can jump right in to all of them.

Other additions to the game in season 2 included the Boogie Bomb, Chug Jug, Cozy Campfire, Suppressed Pistol, Minigun, Small Shield Potions plus more. It also had the Black Knight, Royale Knight and Blue Squire skins among others.

No doubt this is going to be extremely popular, perhaps more than even the OG OG, though we’ll see if that’s true. I do think this is when the game really started soaring in popularity with these new additions including many iconic locations, and I would expect lots of players and streamers to flock to the mode in short order. Prepare yourself for its launch in a few days on Friday, January 31.
