So, people seemed to be surprised and disappointed that Trevor's jokes didn't land tonight. During his opening monologue, he spoke about the people who vote for the Grammy winners, joking that they comprise of "13,000 members of the Recording Academy and 20 million illegal immigrants." Personally, I believe he was mocking the Trump administration's stance on immigration — I don't believe he was genuinely echoing it!
