“After all these years they still get basics facts wrong, flub easy questions and can’t get through a segment without yelling at each other,” McCain said, adding that she thought, “Vance handled it all very well.”

Things did get heated at several points during the vice president’s half-hour sit-down, where he got grilled about the economy, his administration’s immigration crackdown, the Epstein files, and more. Outnumbered six-to-one, Vance repeatedly struggled to get a word in as the panelists barraged him with questions and criticism.

McCain savored the tension during Wednesday’s episode of her podcast, Meghan McCain Has Entered the Chat, where she said watching Navarro and Goldberg bicker “warms my cold, dark heart.”
