The first-place Milwaukee Brewers begin a brutal road gauntlet that runs all the way to the All-Star break as they open a series at the Arizona Diamondback on Friday.

Milwaukee has been the class of the NL Central so far but will be tested with 11 road games in 10 days heading into the break. On the plus side, the Brewers will start it with one of their best arms in Kyle Harrison. The 24-year-old lefty is in the midst of a career season at 8-1 with a 2.57 ERA and 96 strikeouts against just 19 walks in 77 innings.

His opposite number at Chase Field on Friday will be Jose Cabrera, a right-hander making his third major league start on the heels of only three games a Triple-A. The Rays roughed him up a bit his last time out but he threw five shutout innings against the Twins in his MLB debut two weeks ago.
