New WhatsApp features
WhatsAppWhile iMessage might dominate in the USA, WhatsApp remains the go-to messaging app for millions worldwide. Meta continues to enhance it with frequent updates, and the latest one introduces four exciting new ways to chat. These features are designed to make the service more engaging and user-friendly. Here are the four new WhatsApp chat features you need to know about:
Camera Effects To Make Video Calls More Fun
Have you used filters on Instagram or Snapchat—the ones that add effects, change backgrounds, and more? A similar feature is now rolling out on WhatsApp. You’ll soon be able to take photos or record videos with camera effects. The platform offers 30 different backgrounds, filters, and effects to transform your shots, making your chats even more enjoyable.

Create Selfie Stickers With A Tap
Stickers are one of the most fun ways to interact on WhatsApp. My friends and I use them all the time, and Meta is making it even easier to create stickers from your selfies. When you tap the Create Sticker icon, you’ll now see a new camera option to snap a selfie and instantly turn it into a sticker. This feature is rolling out to Android first, with iOS support coming later.
Easier Sticker Pack Sharing
There are times when your friend has a sticker pack of more than a dozen stickers and you need it but it can be tedious to send every sticker one by one. To solve this, WhatsApp has introcduced a new way to share the full sticker pack directly into your chats. No more sending stickers one by one—now you can share all 30 at once with just a tap.
React To Messages Quicker
Previously, reacting to messages required a press-and-hold action. The latest WhatsApp update simplifies this by letting you double-tap a message to react, similar to Instagram. However, WhatsApp’s take on this featurre is a little different: when you double-tap, you can also quickly scroll through your most-used reactions, rather than defaulting to a heart react.
