The WNBA season is already past the midway point, and it's time to celebrate the game's stars.

In the standings, no one has been more dominant than the Minnesota Lynx, who comfortably enter the All-Star break with the WNBA's best record even without Napheesa Collier healthy. The Dallas Wings have already shattered last season's win total, while the Golden State Valkyries look like a contender in only their second season.

From an individual standpoint, the MVP award could be A'ja Wilson's to lose as she continues to dominate. Wilson will be a fixture of All-Star weekend, as will Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers after going right at the top of the All-Star Draft.

Where is the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game?

The WNBA All-Star Game is returning to Chicago, where the Sky previously played host in 2022.

This is Chicago's second time hosting the WNBA All-Star Game, but this time, it will be played at the United Center. The 2022 edition was played at Wintrust Arena, which only seats just over 10,000 fans.

With the Sky just 9-17 and Rickea Jackson out for the season with a torn ACL, the host team won't have a representative at the All-Star Game unless a replacement is necessary. The city will, however, welcome back Angel Reese after she was traded to Atlanta in the offseason.

The WNBA has not yet announced where the 2027 WNBA All-Star Game will be played. 

Front Office Sports reported in November that the league has had trouble getting teams interested in hosting the All-Star Game. The Sky were the only team to bid for the 2026 contest, so any team that wants it in 2027 may jump right to the front of the line.

After back-to-back years in the Midwest, the WNBA might be hoping that a much different market steps up this time.
