The San Francisco 49ers might've made it to the NFC Divisional Round this past NFL season, but they didn't have much of a chance with all of the injuries impacting the team.
One of the biggest losses was Nick Bosa, who had been out since early in the season due to a torn ACL. His lost 2025 season will make his production in 2026 a big question mark.
But, for NFL scouts, executives, and coaches in a poll from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, there's still strong belief in Bosa, as the 49ers edge rusher was ranked inside the top-10 of all edges in the league despite his injury concerns.
Nick Bosa is top-10 edge in NFL, still based on ESPN poll
"8. Nick Bosa, San Francisco 49ers. Highest ranking: 3 | Lowest ranking: Unranked," Fowler shared. "Several voters acknowledged that Bosa would still be in their top five if healthy."
While Bosa left the season early due to a torn ACL, during his three games, he was "balling," as Fowler noted. Bosa had a 21.6% pass rush win rate, and he had two sacks with four tackles for loss in just 119 snaps.
The 28-year-old edge rusher is a five-time Pro Bowler, one-time All-Pro, and a Defensive Player of the Year after an 18.5 sack 2022 season.

Bosa has 64.5 sacks in his career, and if it weren't for injuries, he'd likely be getting close to 100 for his career in this upcoming season.
But the seven-year veteran has missed quite a bit of time due to injury, including a torn ACL this past season. It's a serious injury, and one to be a bit concerned about.
However, NFL scouts, executives, and coaches polled by ESPN believe Bosa is still a top-10 edge rusher in the league, and if healthy, would be a top-five edge in the league.
