Dodgers prospect Kendall George trolled by D-Backs affiliate amid return from bat-dog injury

The Los Angeles Dodgers saw their minor league team make headlines this season after prospect Kendall George sustained an injury avoiding a bat-dog that came out onto the field as he scored.

George landed on the injured list for a while, spending a little under a month on the IL with a knee injury he sustained avoiding a bat-dog. In his first game back from injury, George was trolled by the opposing team in a clever way.

As Jomboy Media shared on Twitter/x, the Arizona Diamondbacks affiliate Visalia Rawhide trolled George in his return from injury by playing barking noises over the loudspeaker as George was taking his first at-bats since injury.

George sustained a knee injury in late May, avoiding a bat-dog, and in his first game back from said injury, his opponents trolled him with barking noises.

It's a clever troll from the D-Backs affiliate, and whether it got in his head or not, with the bases loaded, George struck out on a 2-2 pitch to end the inning.

After striking George out, the dog barking returned, serenading the Dodgers prospect as he returned to the dugout.

Unfortunately, it's a hilarious troll-job from the Rawhide, and it might've even worked by getting into George's head during his pivotal at-bat.

While it might be a little tacky from the D-Backs affiliate, it either worked to get in George's head or it created the viral moment that the Rawhide were looking for.

Regardless, George is back from injuring his knee avoiding a bat-dog, and in a big spot in his first game back, he was met with dog barks over the loudspeaker. That's a ridiculous situation that really could only happen in minor league baseball.
