Tyreek Hill's depressing injury update slows down Chiefs rumors

In a perfect world, the Kansas City Chiefs might reunite with Tyreek Hill and flashback a bit to their glory days.

This is not a perfect world, though. Hill is still recovering from his brutal injury from the 2025 NFL season with the Miami Dolphins. And it sounds like he still has a long way to go.

Hill shared a workout video on Wednesday, and in it, he said, "I have no power in my left leg."

Hill was injured 10 months ago -- when he dislocated his left knee and tore multiple ligaments in Week 4 against the New York Jets.

"It's one day at a time," Hill said in the video.

He also admitted he was told initially it wasn't clear whether he would ever walk again.

Hill is moving around and even running a bit in the video, but if his "no power" assessment of his left leg is accurate, that doesn't sound like someone who will be playing in the NFL soonl.

He's a free agent right now after the Dolphins released him in February, and it's unlikely that he or any teams are in any kind of a rush here.

At some point, Hill will have to prove he's healthy. If that happens, then chatter about potential free agent destinations can begin in earnest.

When that will be, though, is anyone's guess.

"I ain't going to tell you what my timeline is, but timeline looking real good right now, man," Hill said as part of his workout video.

Hill certainly seems intent on continuing his NFL career. It's going to be a bit of a waiting game, though.
