Warriors trade proposal brings in another Bucks star to pair perfectly with Stephen Curry

The Milwaukee Bucks finally moved on from Giannis Antetokounmpo, with the trade becoming official on Monday. Many have started to question what other moves Milwaukee might make in the future. The Bucks, perhaps more than any team in the NBA at the moment, should be looking for just as many assets as anybody else.

It's tough to say Milwaukee should try to gut its roster, given it doesn't even own its own future picks, but having as many assets as possible should be viewed as a positive for the Bucks.

One player who could draw trade interest is A.J. Green, a sharpshooter who might no longer fit Milwaukee's timeline. One recent trade proposal would send him to the Golden State Warriors and would result in a first-round pick swap.

Warriors Receive: A.J. Green

Bucks Receive: Moses Moody, 2031 first-round pick swap

“Golden State is setting the bar high, but a lineup of Curry, Green, LeBron, and Anthony Davis does have potential, but they're going to be missing some outside shooting. This is where the Bucks can come in and make a pretty significant trade partner for the Warriors and offer A.J. Green, who is on a team-friendly deal,” Alex Golden wrote.

Only getting a swap for one of the best 3-point shooters in the NBA, and a guy who would fit in perfectly in the Warriors' system, doesn't really feel too great for Milwaukee.

This is the type of trade I'd make for other players on the roster, but Green is too valuable to give up for Moody and one pick swap. If it was a bit more than that, I can see why Milwaukee would consider it, but until then, it makes sense to hold off.
