Julian Quinones just led the Saudi Pro League in goals, but that's not necessarily going to get someone real attention in the world of international football.
What he's doing for Mexico during the 2026 FIFA World Cup? Yeah, that'll draw all the eyeballs.
Quinones is dominating from his left wing position for Mexico, including a great first-half goal against England in the Round of 32 for his fourth goal of the tournament.
The Fox broadcast in the United States also took some time to talk about Quinones' background, which is interesting -- he wasn't born in Mexico.

Why does Julian Quinones play for Mexico?
He moved to Mexico when he was 17, and when he received a Colombia call-up in May 2023, he didn't take it.
He instead joined Mexico later in the year after completing his naturalization process.
Simply, he wanted to play for the country he had grown into an adult in.
At this World Cup, Mexico is certainly very grateful for that.
