Fat Joe gets real on Timothée Chalamet, Ben Stiller friendship after Knicks season

Fat Joe is getting real about the reality of having friends during the New York Knicks season and what happens after the season ends.

On his podcast, Joe and Jada, he shared how his relationship with Chalamet really lies.

"Timmy's not my friend," he said of Chalamet, adding that it's no shade to the actor. “Once the season’s over, I’ll never see him again ‘til the season comes back. I’m not confused. Timmy’s a good guy, I love him, we’re mutual fans.”

Chalamet, Fat Joe, Tracy Morgan, and Ben Stiller were often seen courtside during games throughout the season and especially the Knicks NBA Finals. Jadakiss, however, believes that Chalamet will still want to talk even though the Knicks season is over.

“I think he’ll pick up for you, out of the season,” Jadakiss responded.

The "Lean Back" rapper didn't disagree with Jadakiss, but got real on how he views the friendship outside of the season.

“Timmy’s my man,” Joe continued. “But what I’m tryin’ to tell you is, once that season is over there’s no more Ben Stiller. S--t gon’ be depressing, man. I’ve been with Ben Stiller, I been with Timothée Chalamet, I’ve been actin’ the f--k up! No more, once the season’s over."

Joe added: "Back to Joe and Jada. … There’s no more Timmy Chalamet… Tracy Morgan lives up the block, so we f--k with him. Who you think still gonna hang out with me after the season? Because lately I’ve been, like, star-studded, guys. I don’t know if y’all got Instagram, but I’ve been acting up. … Is they even gonna talk to me when the season’s over? I’m really waiting to see if that’s what it is. We’re seasonal buddies.”

While Fat Joe, Stiller, and Chalamet might not be seen out together in the coming weeks, all three of the Knicks fans were seen at the parade. On Thursday, June 18, the Knicks celebrated their first NBA championship win in 53 years at the parade in New York City. Several celebrities also showed up to celebrate, including Fat Joe, Chalamet, Stiller, and Spike Lee.

After the parade, the Knicks stars and celebrities like Cardi B, Teyana Taylor, Leon Bridges, Greta Gerwig, and Shaboozy also came out to celebrate with the NBA champions in a club in New York City.
